
Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai actress Shilpa Shinde actress might contest Lok Sabha Elections this year.
Television actress Shilpa Shinde who rose to fame as ‘Angoori Bhabhi’ on popular TV show ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain’, recently joined Congress party in the presence of president of Mumbai Congress Committee Sanjay Nirupam and party leader Charan Singh Sapra in Mumbai.
Official Twitter handle of Mumbai Congress shared the photos of the same on social media, where committee chairman welcomed Shilpa with a bouquet.

Shilpa, who emerged as the winner of reality show ‘Bigg Boss 11’, is elated about her decision of taking break from acting and joining politics. In the video getting viral on the social media, Shilpa can be seen sharing the news and revealing the reasons for her joining the party.
Talking about her future political plans, she said, “Yeah. Right now, I am joining the party. Later, I will get a clear picture from (where) I am going to fight. The actress turned politician, further opened up on joining Congress and said, “I don’t know, but my father was also in Congress. He was a good friend of Sharad Pawar and Sushil Kumar Shinde…”
However, not many of the actress’ fans are glad about the news and trolled her with Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain’s popular dialogue with a twist saying ‘galat pakde hain’.

On the professional front, Shinde made her television debut in 1999. She acted in many TV shows like Sanjeevani, Hatim, Maayka, Chidiya Ghar, Lapataganj and many more. Shinde has acted in two Telugu films Chhina and Shivani. Shilpa Shinde was recently seen as a guest on Kanpur Waale Khuranas.
