Beyhadh Actor Piyush Sahdev Charged With Rape, Gets Arrested

Jennifer Winget’s Beyhadh Co-star Piyush Sahdev charged with rape, arrested in Mumbai

Piyush Sahdev is popularly recognized for playing a role of Lord Rama in Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev and a lead role opposite Jenniger Winget in BeyhadhPiyush Sahdev is arrested by Mumbai police for rape charges. A woman filed an FIR on Wednesday morning with Versova Police Station. 

A senior inspector from Versova Police Station gave a statement confirming that, “Yes, he has been charged with rape. An FIR was lodged against him on November 20. After investigations, we arrested him on November 22. He was produced in court on the same day and has been sent to police custody till November 27.”

Piyush’s estranged wife Akangsha Rawat said – ” I have not been in touch with Piyush since the last four months. So, I am not aware of anything.”. She is been living separately from Piyush since April and have charged Piyush for harassment and cruelty. When media person contacted Piyush’s father Kulveer Singh Sahdev, who is in Delhi on time of contact said, “he doesn’t have any clue about the incident and will look into it”.

Recently, Piyush was in news for sending abusive messages to his friends on FB. The actor however claimed that his account is been hacked and hacker is been doing this. 

He was in the news for having an extra marital affair with a creative team member of Beyhadh and started living in with her. Reports claimed that this became a substantial reason for his separation with his wife. However, Piyush denied these cliames and said, ” Yes, it is true that Akangsha and I are getting separated. The divorce is already in process. But all the rumours which are being spread are untrue.”
