Ramya, who was recently seen in movies like Baahubali series and Hello, has taken an interesting role for the next movie. The upcoming film, ‘Super Deluxe’ features Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles.
Ramya will be seen as a porn star in a movie titled Mallu Cut within Super Deluxe, according to the director. The trailer of the film has created quite a stir on social media.
In an interview, she said that her character is ‘the most challenging in her career.’
“This one (Super Deluxe) is more about the content than the actors. It’s mostly Kumararaja [the director],” said Ramya. According to the reports, the director took 37 cuts over two days for one particular scene. She said, “More than me, my assistants were the ones who were shocked. Some roles are for money, some for popularity and name, some for passion.”

In a video interview, Thiagarajan and Mysskin (screenplay writer) revealed that many scenes went easily up to 100 and 150 takes. The director said, “Ramya Krishnan was an odd person to play the role of the porn star in the film within the film, Mallu Uncut. We had initially approached Nadiya for the role, Ramya was very cool, and she probably felt that she was pushing herself out of her comfort zone.”
Super Deluxe has already drawn the viewers’ attention with Vijay Sethupathi’s role of a transwoman. What do you think about it?
