SS Rajamouli’s film Baahubali 2 sets all time high records of getting 6500 screens in India alone. The news broke by trade analyst Ramesh Bala on his twitter handle, “#Baahubali2 will release in 6,500 Screens in India… Highest ever for any movie in India.” Prior to Baahubali 2, Aamir Khan’s Dangal held the record of having 5300 screens.

Baahubali 2 will be the first Indian film to be released in 4K High Definition format, requiring many of the theaters to upgrade projectors
In an interview with IANS, the trailer editor revealed that out of 25 different cuts, these were the best picked to release in the trailer. Vamsi Atluri said, “It’s so satisfying to see this kind of response which I never imagined. More than the pressure of working on the trailer of India’s biggest motion picture (yet), I was very anxious to know how audiences will receive it.”
The movie is all set to release on 28th April 2017 worldwide in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
