No matter how much trouble has brewed up between India and Pakistan, there are people on both sides of the border who have the heart of gold. Atif Aslam, the Pakistani singer who has ruled our hearts since forever, became one such person when he recently stopped singing in his concert and lashed out at a man who was harassing a woman.
Atif shouted and said, “Tumne kabhi ladki nahi dekhi hai? Tumhari maa behen bhi ho sakti hai yahan par.”
Post that, Atif took the girl on stage to save her more embarrassment. He even told everyone how they should behave in a proper manner or else he will stop the concert. The video of the whole incident was put on social media by a fan of Atif who attended the concert.

Well, we just have claps and applauds for the man. You might not be performing in India because of the political in differences that have crept up, but you sure won our heart with this one.
To refresh your memory, last year, due to the Uri attacks and the stoic silence maintained by the Pakistani celebs on the same, India put an indefinite ban on artistes from the country, till the matters are sorted.
Anyway, as far as this incident is concerned, we as Indians really appreciate what Atif stood up for. No matter what the region or religion, a good person is a good one. A salute to Atif for standing up for the right cause.
