Television actress Ankita Lokhande, who started her acting career with TV show Pavitra Rishta, is going a long way now. The actress has bagged her first Bollywood movie alongside Kangana Ranaut and the preparation for her role is keeping Ankita on toes. However, the actress is quite disappointed that despite achieving big, she is constantly being addressed as Sushant Singh Rajput’s ex-girlfriend. Ankita is irked by the constant reference to her former beau with whom she parted ways early last year after dating for almost six years.
In an interview with HT, Ankita said, “I don’t understand why am I [still] being referred as Sushant’s ex. I have my own identity. Why not talk about my work? Very soon, I will start shooting for my first Bollywood film and I hope everyone focuses on that.”

Ankita, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut in the film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, was also asked if she is still in touch with Sushant. To which, she replies, “I never spoke about anyone; won’t talk about it now also.”
Recently, Ankita shared some pictures of her with Kushal Tandon and soon rumours about them dating each other started doing rounds. Talking about the same, the diva said, “Kushal is a very good friend. This year, I have already been linked with three guys. What’s wrong with people?”
Adding further she said, “Can’t I click photos with my friends? I have been a tomboy, having more male friends and even hugging them isn’t something new for me. I guess, now on, I will have to be extra careful.”
