South Filmmaker and the elder daughter of superstar Rajinikanth, Aishwaryaa Dhanush has become a target on the social media. Yes, Aishwaryaa Dhanush received lots of criticism over her recent Bharatnatyam dance performance at the UN headquarters on International Women’s Day. It all came to notice after a versatile dancer Anita Ratnam took to Facebook and twitter for ridiculing Aishwaryaa’s dance performance.
She addressed her dance performance as “Pathetic” and also shared the snippet video of the performance on the twitter with a caption, “The pathetic state of Bharatanatyam at the UN.”

If that was not enough, the dancer Anita Ratnam also criticized Aishwaryaa Dhanush on Facebook and shared a big post. In the post, she also mentioned that she has not choreographed Aishwaryaa’s dance performance as claimed by some reports. She wrote, I have been told just now that a reporter on ASIANET has allegedly misrepresented the AISHWARYA DHANUSH UN DANCE FIASCO as CHOREOGRAPHED OR ATTRIBUTED TO ME!!!!!!

Given the opportunity to present Indian culture at the UN headquarters New York on International Women’s Day, Aishwaryaa had tweeted – “It’s my honour n pleasure to be performing at the U.N. headquarters on International Women’s Day this year. Looking forward sir (sic).”
Aishwaryaa’s presence at the event was not only about her performance, she plays a very important role as she is also the UN Goodwill Ambassador for Women, given with task of bringing gender equality in India. This is unfortunate!
