Like old wine, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is just getting better and hotter, as each year passes by. Her Cannes appearances are closely monitored by critics and media alike, and off late, she has been literally stumping us with one gorgeous look after the other. It was natural for us to be expectant of yet another beguiling red carpet moment, this year at Cannes, and boy, she did not disappoint us one bit.
Aishwarya, who is celebrating 15th year of her representing India at Festival De Cannes, looked a vision. This has to be one of her most relaxed appearances, but the cool and confidence seemed seeped in her attitude, which she carried off with a panache, adding that perfect complement to her attire.
She looked like a goddess in an embellished nude coloured Ali Younes Couture gown, on which she donned a matching cape, completing the look with a finish of turquoise metallic liner and shadow on the eyes, a swipe of natural lip shade, and perfectly contoured makeup, with her hair falling in loose waves, framing her face perfectly.
Aishwarya made an appearance on the red carpet of Cannes on the third day, for the screening of the film “Ma loute” (Slack Bay), on the 69th Cannes Film Festival. The diva was also endorsing the cosmetic giant L’oreal, for which she is the brand ambassador.
Once we got over the sheer gold gorgeousness that she was poured into on her first, Aishwarya managed to stump us yet again when she made her second appearance in the red Naeem Khan gown. She complemented the fiery ensemble with a hot red pout that she carried gracefully and effortlessly, like a diva she is.
The day two of Cannes 2016 saw Aishwarya in a ravishing and breath-taking Elie Saab Fall 2014 Couture gown. After the first day where she shined in Ali Younes couture gown, this was her second day of romance with the gold, and she looked made for the flawless gown. Completing her look with velvety red lips, smooth and luminescent makeup, and delicately lined and mascara laden eyes, Aishwarya proved that she truly is a goddess of beauty.
We simply loved all the looks of hers, this Cannes. Which one is your favourite? Back in Bollywood, the actress is all set to make a thumping comeback with her biographical movie Sarbjit, where she stars along with Randeep Hooda and Richa Chaddha.
