Since then there has been no looking back for the actress. A global icon, Mahira will now make her Cannes debut this year.
The ‘Verna’ actress will be representing make-up brand L’Oreal during the 71st annual Cannes Film Festival. Mahira Khan is the first ever Pakistani brand ambassador for the international brand. The ‘Raees’ actress will be rubbing shoulders with Indian representatives of the make-up giant — Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone. The mesmerizing trio will walk down the red carpet from May 10 to May 15.

The stunning actress from across the border made this announcement via her Instagram account whereon she shared a picture of the Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger at the 1977 Cannes and captioned it: “Cannes 2018, Let’s do this!”. For reasons unknown Mahira has deleted the post.

“It’s wonderful to be the first Indian designer to showcase the pleasure of socialising with Magnum and make my debut at Cannes this year. Also, it’s an honour to create something exclusively for Bella Hadid, a true global style icon. The accessory will be inspired by Magnum, befitting true decadence and the art of socialising. I’m really looking forward to it,” said the Indian designer.
