The elderly couple, Kathiresan and Meenakshi had filed a petition in November claiming that they are Dhanush’s real parents. To which, the Raanjhanaa actor have now moved to Madras High Court seeking withdrawal of case filed against him. The couple had previously also provided birth certificate, childhood pictures allegedly claiming Dhanush as their son.
Now the actor has also sought to put a stay on the proceedings of court. As soon Dhanush moved to HC, Justice G Chockalingam ordered the couple to file counter case. Another interesting fact that came into the lime light is, this couple had earlier filed petition saying that Rajnikanth’s son-in-law is their son. The couple is also demanding amount of Rs.65,000 per month to meet their basic monthly expenses from the actor claiming they cannot fend themselves.

Denying all the facts, Dhanush said “it is a clear case of blackmail. This being the case, the petitioner was shocked to learn that the respondents herein have made a preposterously false claim that he was born to them. This honorable court can take judicial notice of the fact that such frivolous and false cases are generally filed against well-known personalities. Actress Sridevi was one such victim and the petitioner is the latest in the series of victims”
On the professional front, Dhanush will pair with actress Kajol for upcoming movie VIP 2. According to news source,“She plays a suave businesswoman, and there will be different shades to her character. She has already joined the sets and has already shot for a week,”
