Forbes has released this year’s list of the world’s 10 highest paid actresses and the most disappointing thing is homegirl, Deepika Padukone, who ranked #10 in 2016, has not made it to the list this time. Deepika made her Hollywod debut with xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage, which got her fame globally. Deepika has no Hollywood project now and is currently working on her upcoming Bollywood film, Padmavati starring Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor alongside.
Besides Deepika Padukone, Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson has not made it to the top 10 list of highest paid actresses. This is the first time in three years that she hasn’t made the grade.

Nevertheless, Emma Stone, Oscar-winner of film La La Land, is on #1 for the first time, with Forbes reporting earnings of $26 million. Jennifer Lawrence, who topped the list two years in a row, has got down to third place, after Jennifer Aniston.
Now the list of top 10 highest paid TV actresses is awaited and Priyanka Chopra is expected to make the cut.
